Dressler does not drop passes or ever play inconsistent, I'd pay whatever it takes to get him.

Pass on Chick...only way I'd sign him is of he would take a discount to play close to his family which I believe is in Saskatchewan.

The Cats are after Chick. They going to pay him 260k/ yr?   If not give you pathetic man crush on the riders a rest. 

I dont think anyone, including the riders are willing to go 260k for Chick, im thinking 200-225K will be his top offer, whether or not it matches or outbids what the riders offered remains to be seen

Nobody is a bigger Chick fan than me. He is a warrior. He is going to get 175-180 and that's it. He has one maybe two years left. He is a fool to leave here where he was set up for life after football

One I don't think Jones is a fan of small receivers. If I had a choice I would sign Ryan Smith over Dressler younger and same ability.  Chick would be nice he would get a lot less double teams might free him a bit.

I have a feeling if we sign Dressler Carter wouldn't be an option, not because we couldn't spend on both. But not sure we could sign both, plus a starting Cdn and an impact DL. So I'd rather have Carter over Dressler. But wouldn't be too upset if we got Dressler and not Carter.

I guess it depends one what were doing with Picard & Brohms $ + if we let Moore hit FA we could have quite a bit to make lucrative offers to a couple people

Oh man I would love to see Dressler in blue and gold, and he'd be way more than just a great target for our QBs. 

I bet Denmark would put up career numbers with a guy like Dressler drawing the heat.

Really sad to see Dressler and Chick go. Wasn't sure what I thought of it before, but it does relieve a lot of cap space. I'm hoping Dressler will go to an Eastern team, but if he goes to Winnipeg, I still wish him the best for you guys.

Since somebody mentioned it, I am probably going to change my username. Not because I'm bailing on Dressler (he will still be one of my favourite players), but just want something different. I've considered it before Dressler left anyway.

Part of the reason we released Dressler was likely to do with Smith. I doubt he goes elsewhere.
