Big game tonight.

It's about time, and this early in the season, I just can't use the term 'big game' against an opponent who is in the other conference... big games coming up against Minny and Chicago and LA for that matter but this one, not really...  I guess, what i'd call this game is, just a game, but what i'd be most interested in seeing here is how they respond after a loss and having a few days of practice to work on the "system"... we have 2 losses this year so far... after the loss to the NYI, we came back and won, let's see what happens tonight, Hopefully we come out after a loss and win again... don't lose 2 in a row and if you do lose 2 in a row, bound to happen eventually, don't lose 3 in a row and you will be fine.

I get to watch the game to night and I am REALLY looking forward to it.

I hope Chiarot and Stuart have good games as well as Petan after sitting a game.

I watched the 2nd half of the game.... from what I saw Burmistrov is under rated... he's consistent on being able to flip the puck out of our end and for not giving the pucks away on errant passes.  

 

For the OT goal,  where was the 3rd man?   I'm assuming it was suppose to be Little?  Did he fall asleep behind the net after the break away?

Stupid Ladd fell down.  He shouldn't be out on 3-3's.

Staf had a really good game as did Scheif's line. Enstrom was shite and Chiarot started out the game that way too. Chiarot picked it up as the game went on. It is evident that we need a 1LHD or at least a 2LHD. Toby hears footsteps and waits for the hit instead of playing the pcuk. He's still the best passing D man we have but he is a 2lhd at best.

What I wouldn't give to have OEL in a Jets uni. I'd like to see Gardiner here as a 2LHD.

Ladd was awful again. I'd consider moving him sooner rather than later. Maybe for a LHD and then trade Enstrom. Ladd looked slow once again

Gardiner would help us out. Trade Toby to TO....Babcock loves him. Toby for Gardiner and a good prospect.

Take that prospect and throw in a 1st rounder and one of our prospects and whatever else it takes and get a bona fide LHD.

Ladd, Buff and Enstrom for Johnson, Johansen and Murray and a 2nd.

I'd even do it without the 2nd.

None of those are remotely realistic. Seriously just stop. I don't even think nhl 16 would allow those. Just unrealistic.

Why would a rebuilding leafs team want a what 30 year old Enstrom. Why would cbj trade a young LHD plus a young Centre for 2 ufas to be. Just so unrealistic it's crazy

Lol and OEL.... start with trouba... add ehlers .. add a 1st. Sorry not worth it. He's good but Zona ain't trading a 24 year old on a good contract.

And when you make these trade suggestions... ask yourself why would the other team do it first

I forgot to add that Pavs played a good game and Wheeler is playing as good as I have ever seen him play and must be considered one of the best in the league right now. Never mind taking off a shift, this guy doesn't take of a second of a shift. Ehlers was good offensively but needs to work on his D game.

I'm all for trading Ladd and Buff and even Toby but.... try to be a bit more realistic here

Toby's untradeable because of his contract. Not so much the no-trade part but the money he makes

2 years left after this year at 5.75 not really that bad a contract, there are worse.

Ehlers is unreal. Could have had a hat trick tonight. Reminds me of Selanne with the lead passes he was receiving.

Petan is going to have to play up the line up at some point. He's good but needs to play with finishers. Does he make Ladd a bit more expendable?

Always said its hard to trade your captain but isn't Wheeler the true captain at this point?
