Bass has been solid but unless the bombers are gonna try and spread the love nomination wise, westerman should be up for mop/dmop (dont know if u can be both) outstanding canadian and outstanding rookie.

Westerman can't be nominated as the rookie, that nomination is all Bass'.

Westerman, like Johnny Adams, doesn't qualify as a rookie due to his NFL experience. Bass will get that nomination.

Ok wasnt aware of that even tho it is technically his first year in the cfl. In that case yeah bass gets the bombers outstanding rookie nod. Not sure who hed be up against league wide

John Ojo in Edmonton will be tough competition for the western nomination.

Since it got mentioned, Brett Johnson led the CFL in sacks in 2005 and 2006 (thanks google).

I believe the actual rookie rule is if you have dressed for an NFL regular season game, you're not a rookie in the CFL.

interesting point brought up on riderfans, in regards to MOC,  messam would have been a lock for sask but now plays for calgary,  does he get screwed? I still think westerman takes it for the west, but as far as each teams representative, makes for some wonder

I figure it'll work out the same way the Alex Hall situation worked out when he got traded to the riders
