I'd recommend getting some friends over with beers and extension cords and it will make it go by faster.

I've had the boys over for beers and to whip each other with extension cords but I don't know how you would stain a deck that way.

As I said before get a very strong sand paper it will rip it off easily.

I might have some time to help between 11 and 1 on Sunday night.  So if you take a few boards off, leave them and some beer by the side of the road for me to pick up, I'll take them home and help put a dent in them.  Figuratively, and possibly literally, depending on how much beer is involved.
