So what you're saying is that "Rider Green" is like herpes?   Never goes away but flares up once in awhile?

  • If Walters leaves (he will only do so if he chooses to take the job in Guelph) John Murphy should be the man targeted by Miller.

Well, Ottawa looks like the best team in the league now. But everything changes in the playoffs. I watched Hank for years in Calgary & he chokes in the playoffs. The only playoff run he had was in 2008 where he won the WDF & Grey Cup. He had some really bad games in the playoffs for Calgary over the years which is why he was traded to Hamilton. So, we'll see what happens in the EDF.

His playoff performances will primarily be what keeps him from being regarded as one of the top-10  QBs of all time in the CFL.  Even in the 2008 Grey Cup, he didn't play all that impressive.  It was more a case of him sucking less than Calvillo in that game.

08 game was also in Montreal so it was inside a dome. For a fine example of Burris in the playoffs in the cold see Hamilton in Regina a few years ago. Guy was absolutely useless. He's the ultimate fair weather qb. Looks great in the summer but when the weather gets bad he's useless.
