Posted June 29, 201510 yr comment_129611 As they manage to screw up so very often. "#fortheW"... Top knotch!
June 29, 201510 yr Author comment_129640 I actually really like Believe in Blue. I like it as well. I think a few other teams use it though.
June 29, 201510 yr comment_129642 I will forever be a fan of Game Day: We All Play, which goes back to sometime around the late 90s, I think...
June 29, 201510 yr comment_129673 This was good marketing by the coach yet http://blogs.canoe.com/bomberbeat/football/kelly-loses-his-cool/

June 29, 201510 yr comment_129703 "We've got it Going On' was the worst and it's not close. That was embarrassing. "Unfinished Business" sucks b/c it's used against us now, but it wasn't a terrible idea at the time.
June 29, 201510 yr comment_129714 Blue Revolution Should be RevoBluetion. I did not go to school for marketing.
June 29, 201510 yr comment_129727 remember, this is the same group of meatheads who brought you these nasty jerseys, and then claimed later that it would be too expensive to go back to royal blue, and they've spent so much already on creating a brand. this includes things like letterheads, pens, etc. i kid you not. i wish i was.
June 29, 201510 yr comment_129763 Reebok is more likely the perpetrators of the stupid jerseys than the marketing department of the Bombers. Also, almost everyone from marketing when those jerseys were introduced has moved on. What I didn't like was the dishonest marketing of the 2011 season as the last in the old stadium and 2012 as the first in the new when anybody who had so much as had a friend in the construction industry or trades knew they wouldn't be playing the new stadium until 2013.
June 29, 201510 yr comment_129928 Unfinished Business Infinity (until proven otherwise) ... Kinda long but accurate ...
June 29, 201510 yr comment_129930 HearIng "Unfinished Business" still makes me reach for my.....screwcap

I think we can thank Garth Butchko for that disaster.... who, has we all know, is long gone by now

June 30, 201510 yr comment_130026 Butchko was done like dinner the minute he stepped to the mic and declared the buck stopped with him. He wanted the heat, he got the heat.
June 30, 201510 yr comment_130027 I'm not denying he wasn't cut out for the job, in fact, I really have no idea if he wasn't or not as the organization from top to bottom was a complete mess. But the dude got blamed for everything include stuff that happened before he took over.
June 30, 201510 yr comment_130028 Buchko should never have been hired. Buchko as manager of CJOB signs a seven year extension for the broadcast rights with the Bombers - November 20, 2011 March 1, 2012 (essentially three months after this announcement), Buchko is announced as CEO for the Bombers. Looking at the cost that TSN paid for the CFL television rights, I'm willing to bet that CJOB got a sweet deal on the Bombers radio rights in exchange for Buchko becoming CEO.
