February 20, 20223 yr comment_557022 My understanding of what happened to Ledger was that he was really messed up from this movie and was having trouble with his sleep. They got him on some meds to help with that and he started taking more and more of them and eventually too much. For anyone that might be interested, the HBO "I Am Heath Ledger" doc on Crave is awesome.
