When your problem was injury, not talent (like it is with both Swiston and Pencer) then you're going to get multiple looks at a high demand, low supply position. I think Swiston has a chance. Pencer is a write off as far as I'm concerned.

Pencer looked to me like he showed up at camp completely out of shape, and he was getting turnstiled on every play. That first exhibition game he was just getting schooled. Definitely one of Mack's worst picks, especially given how high he was taken.

I never was impressed with White. How many athletic qbs have we seen that come up here with the big arms & million dollar legs who just don't make it? I'd say 7 or 8 out of every 10 of them end up going home.

I suppose this could go here but judging by the twitter feed on the side, it's just a matter of time b4 the argos are playing at BMO field, probably for the start of next season it sounds like. That's some great news really.

Braley has to go. Any good he did for the CFL is now long gone. He's as bad or even worse than any other owner that team has had. If they do move into BMO & actually have an owner who cares it'll take years to undo the damage these idiot owners in the past including Braley have done to the Argos brand & the CFL.

Kinda means nothing.

 

We signed a DB by the name of Jeff Richards last year, never announced it, brought him to mini camp and he didn't impress, so we cut him.

 

Signed and cut before ever announcing it. More common than we think.

He is one hell of a good returner. I wonder why the Esks cut him. Are they so flush at DB? Wasn't that long ago he led the league in INTs and he's only 28.

I'm a big fan of his, we're stacked in the secondary but I'd make room for him.

With Stoudermire, Randle, and Bucknor, there is just no room for Burnett. Maybe at field HB he would have a shot at replacing Bruce Johnson but IIRC the Esks tried Burnett at HB and it didn't work out. He will sign with Ottawa.

Burnette was hurt a lot last year.
