The PlayStation 5 will release in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea on November 12, with the rest of the world getting the console on November 19. The full version of the PS5 system will cost $499.99US. The PS5 Digital Edition, meanwhile, which will not feature a disc drive, will cost a leaner $399.99US. This will release at the same time.

Same US pricing as Xbox. Let's hope they get the Canadian pricing in at $600 too.

Although Xbox Series S Is $300US.

I got my pre-order in for the PS5. It's a whopping $630 CDN for the full console.

Correct. I think The Source is taking $100 deposits for in-store pre-orders but otherwise no money down!

I couldn't use Rakuten, unfortunately. I was refreshing on Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart. Finally, it showed up again on Walmart.ca.

No, but I'll probably cancel a pre-order anyhow. If anyone I know asks me, I can also give it to them. 

FWIW Series S was available at the MS store just now.

FWIW Rumour Control has EB Games and Wally doing more pre-orders tomorrow morning.

Costco has their pre-order up now. Includes an extra controller, Spider-Man, and another, pre-loaded, game for $809. It's not a deal, per se, but you get the extra game free and saves having to look for another controller.

Wally was 806 all in for same minus the Spidey game.

I'm an Executive Member, so I get 2% back. Not sure if the extra game is worth it but I like the Costco return policy. 

I was planning to get Spider-Man anyhow, so I will probably go with this one. 

Is the pre loaded game the Astro bot game?  If so then it's more so a tech demo then a full fledge game. 

The extra controller is a good thing to get as the PS5 is not backwards compatible with the PS4 controller.  The xbox series x and s can both use xbox one controllers on all its games.
