December 14, 201410 yr comment_99588 I don't know how to post videos, but at this exact moment I'm listening to Dolly Parton's "Winter Wonderland".....nobody belts it like ol' Dolly... If you paste a youtube link in, the site is smart enough to embed the video for you.

January 8, 201510 yr comment_102499 Some progressive rock fans here, but no mention of Pink Flloyd? "Shine On" has got to be one of the greatest pieces I have ever heard. Will never get sick of that song.

Played Winnipeg just a few months ago opening for Gord Bamford at Club Regent. Great band, for sure. The lead singer, Ryan Langlois, was a finalist on Canadian Idol in one of its first seasons.
May 12, 201510 yr comment_119037 Johnny Paycheck, has to be one of the most emotional singers ever. That song is so frickin sad. Don't know if there's any popular music that conveys sadness as well as country music. Not for me anyway.
June 2, 201510 yr comment_122394 Texas station 95.9 the Ranch is a good station to stream for certain kinds of country http://www.959theranch.com
June 2, 201510 yr comment_122432 Texas Country is about the only REAL Country left. I like to add some stuff that generally only appears on the Texas charts to my playlist. Spinning the new Sunny Sweeney/Will Hoge duet ("My Bed") and the new Ray Scott ("Ain't Always Thirsty") in regular rotation right now. Just absolutely killer, PURE COUNTRY songs...
