Argos @ Leos - GDT - Burke's D vs Glenn

Featured Replies

Haven't heard the Argos injury report lately, but with Durie, Owens, and Barnes in town again, will Ricky Ray's offense be able to do enough to curb Bighill and the Leo's D?

Bigger story is, the Argos D has been in the crapper all year, and once again Burke is on the CFL hot seat.  What is he going to do to try and mitigate the problems done in Toronto?

  • In my opinion, his facemaking penalty was worthy of an ejection.

  • Don't think you're special. He's like that with everyone so just suck it up and carry on like everyone else. If it bothers you so much then just put him in your foe list.

  • Yep.  He also had Chris Jones making him look good too.

The Lions have this one in the bag because the Argos love to use their west coast excuses. Game is past their bedtimes so they get sleepy and can't play, or so argo fans have insisted for years.

They can't really use that excuse with this game since the Argos stayed out west after their game against Calgary.

Im surprised Glenn didn't get called for intentional grounding on that play; it looked like he threw it straight at the ground and that it didn't even pass the line of scrimage.

If there was an eligible receiver in the area it doesn't matter whether or not it crossed the LOS.

Nice to see offense in the CFL again and running backs who run straight ahead. Rather unsporting of the Toronto defensive lineman to take the name of the monster in Lake Okanogan, though.

Nope the Lions do not have this one in the bag ....

But of course old Burke and that D blew it against the Stampeders last week so ....

Old guy better figure out you don't back off the pressure packages

Save for the Stamps the rest of the league is pretty much a crap shoot.  With recent quarterbacking injuries throughout the league the way the standings end up is anybody's guess.

Classic CFL!

The BC loss can't be hung completely on Glenn- the BC defence took the night off and Ray was very good. BC got behind early and that took the running game right off the table, allowing the defence to key on pressure and defending the pass.

I'm not sure if their defence "took the night off" as much as they got dominated by a solid Argo offence.  If they can get healthy both the Argos and TiCats are formidable opponents.
