No, there is no order to who can claim someone off someone else's PR. First man up to claim him. Of course, all Calgary would do is activate him and that ends that. The smarter play might be to try and trade for him. It is obvious that Calgary will have a very hard time holding onto him over the long term. Report

You can't simply claim players off practice rosters either, you can offer them an active roster spot and if they accept, their current team can match that offer to keep the player and place them on the active roster, or let the player walk. Still, I'm not sure that keeping Chad Johnson over him was a good move despite Richardson's recent injury problems. I'd definitely bring back Etienne as a backup receiver considering how desperately we need one. Hugh Charles being released surprises me as well although admittedly I haven't paid much attention to the other running backs the Esks have brought in. Report
