TBH I'm not a fan of the show and I can't imagine it being a cartoon is going to suddenly breathe new life into it, making it a good show, or suddenly appeal to a younger audience... Can it work? I don't see why not, but will people watch? maybe, I know my parents probably will (my dad likes a good animated comedy, that's why he keeps watching family guy even though it's getting worse, and my mother supported the kickstarter for the movie)
