I haven't watched it yet but if you're interested in diving deeper into this, you should check out Slava Malamud's episode by episode review/talk. He was a Russian hockey/sports writer based out of Buffalo (I think). He really dives deep into the show.

Saw this the other night- it was good. Using the vast amount of footage, Antoine Fuqua was able to have Ali narrate his own documentary- giving quite a powerful angle to his life's story. It was executive produce by Lebron and narrated by Muhammad Ali.

Here is a comprehensive review:

Quote

Comprised of old photos and film, TV, and radio clips, Fuqua’s project (executive-produced by LeBron James) does its best to approximate an autobiographical authorship, allowing “the greatest” to be his own storyteller. That approach, along with a narrative focus that remains almost exclusively on his public career — don’t go looking for insights into his family life, for example — means that “What’s My Name” is relatively short on outsider perspectives and, thus, a larger analysis of Ali’s place in history.

Watched an excellent documentary on the  Red Wings "The Russian Five" the other night, compliments another excellent documentary "Red Army" which came out in 2014.  How I wish hockey would return to this style of play, it was so much more entertaining than the "talent not required" style they play now.

I have some breaking news to share: Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara have been nominated for Lead acting Categories for $chitts Creek the rest of the nominations are soon to follow

UPDATE: SC has a comedy series nomination

https://tvline.com/2019/07/16/2019-emmy-nominations-list-awards/

and SNL got a ton of nominations for the guest hosts, Adam Sandler is one of them

HOLY CRAP CARMEN IS NOMINATED TOO (Hey it may not matter much to most of you but it matters to me, I'd rather be part of a fandom that doesn't complain because of too many women or whining about skin colour)
