Carrey is one of those "artists" that eventually go full on nuts.  His art is amazing though if you ever watch a video of him paining.  But he's gone WAY far into the spiritual/meditation side.  I mean, being spiritual and doing meditation is good, but when you go that far with anything you've gone to the nutty side of things.

That episode was good though.  He's still got the humor in him, but he holds it back now.  You could see Jerry was trying to pull it out of him in that episode and Carrey kept going back to the crazy.

Yeah, I believe he's one of those full-on Anti-Vaxxers, too.....just all kinds of looney-toons, but the man is still funny deep down, no question about it.

Never watched it, is it just a dramatized story of pablo escobar?

The first two seasons were. Third season moves onto a different story.  All related to drug cartels on Columbia

uses some news reels and photos within the story. Really good. But not a documentary. Actors. Dramatized.

just finished episode 4 of the new season, shocked to see an appearance by "Newman" playing a sleazy N.Y. lawyer.

Yet another new HBO show I'm pretty pumped for.

David Simon of The Wire fame teams up with author George Pelecanos with whom he's collaborated with before on both the wire and Treme.

Pretty stellar cast including James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal - who's also a producer.

me too!  very excited.  There was some thought that Vinyl got cancelled after disagreement with Terence Winters so HBO could instead focus on The Deuce.  Not sure if the two decisions are related.  But this looks good (and I liked Vinyl too).

Finally got around to binge watching The Defenders since i finally got some consecutive days off in row, gotta say it fell kinda flat for me. Maybe I'm just getting tired of the same reworked story over and over and the same style in everyone of these netflix marvel shows.  The initial idea of how they would come together piqued my curiosity and learning a little more about the 5 fingers of the hand was welcomed but that was all accomplished by episode 4,  so from episode 5-7 was just filler that totally brought the season down IMO.  The ending leaves me scratching my head too.

I'm still trying to figure out who the biggest ***** was in all these shows.  So far it's a toss up between Matt Murdock, Luke Cage and Claire Temple

I watched Daredevil season 1 and Agents of Shield for a season or two but I got tired of them, to be honest.
