Lions Release Paris Jackson

Featured Replies

Nice way to treat a veteran. That's Wally & how he does business. The Lions couldn't have done this a month ago? I know Jackson is on the downside  of his career but he may have been able to find a position with another team. Now, it may be difficult.

Jackson is a decent pick-up for the Eskimos if true, has a couple of years left in him as a 4-6 option or a back-up I suppose.

Big changes in BC. Expect Angus Reid to retire next week. I  think Wally is pushing these changes. He did this in Calgary.... He is banking on Lulay staying  healthy & reloading.

Could be an okay backup... right now the first man up behind Watson and Kohlert is a toss up between three untested young guys.  However Jackson passed his best-before date about three years ago so I'm not sure there is much point.  Maybe for some leadership on the offensive side of the ball.

Leadership is from players by example not by words. Like last year he is a guy on the street you bring in when someone gets hurt. You don't bring guys like that to camp and risk him getting hurt....then you own him.

Used to be a big PJ fan. Not anymore.

Now, it's just briefs, right?

Lol. I prefer boxers.

I prefer the nude...

...unfortunately for my wife.
