February 10, 201411 yr comment_39235 Pretty sure the team informed him that he wasn't in the plans and let him retire rather than be released. Ian Wild and the fullback we drafted last year makes him disposable
February 10, 201411 yr comment_39236 A classy guy who was heavily involved in the community. He was a good Blue Bomber.
February 10, 201411 yr comment_39237 Thanks to Cvetkovic for all his years as a Bomber. Great community guy, and was steady as our long snapper for years. Wish him the best in his life after football.
February 10, 201411 yr comment_39238 Best wishes to Cvetty going forward. As others have said, the guy gave selflessly to the community. Can't ask for much more from a player.
February 10, 201411 yr comment_39241 Sure would be nice to see him move into an assistant coaching role
February 10, 201411 yr comment_39249 Fantastic Bomber both on and, more importantly, off the field. Super nice guy who did great charity work...thanks for all the hard work, Cvetty!
February 10, 201411 yr comment_39252 Enjoy your retirement! Thank you for your contributions to the team!
February 10, 201411 yr comment_39275 Tributes keep pouring in: Obby@obbykhan601 hr Congrats on a great career @cvety50 Great player, great team leader, great community guy & even better in the shower. Another old timer gone Congrats to Cvetty on a long and successful career.
February 10, 201411 yr comment_39317 Best of luck to Cvetty in his life after football. Great representative of the Bombers in the community and while long snapper isn't the most talked about position in football, he performed well for a long time.
February 10, 201411 yr comment_39334 Good luck, I am sure we will see him around...... And a big thank you for all the work on and off the field.
February 10, 201411 yr comment_39339 Cvetty is my wife's favorite Bomber because of all the animal shelter stuff he does. She's gonna be bummed to hear this.
February 10, 201411 yr comment_39351 Pretty sure the team informed him that he wasn't in the plans and let him retire rather than be released. Ian Wild and the fullback we drafted last year makes him disposable Based on what we saw from Fitzgerald last year in the pre-season, he won't be long-snapping the CFL outside of an emergency situation where 2-3 other guys go down in a game. There are other guys who can do it in an emergency, but I suspect we'll be adding a long snapper ahead of training camp.
February 10, 201411 yr comment_39353 Huclack ... what do you mean? are we trading for him? i will like that, a Winnipeger back to the fold. send Cauchy to the Riders for him.
February 10, 201411 yr comment_39380 If only we had held on to Jordan Matechuk a little longer. Maybe we can make an offer to Chad Rempel in free agency... or make a trade for Huclack... bring "Huck" back to Winnipeg where he belongs.
February 11, 201411 yr comment_39389 What's wrong with Wild snapping opens up a non-import spot that can be used in more areas.
February 11, 201411 yr comment_39390 What's wrong with Wild snapping opens up a non-import spot that can be used in more areas. No problem with that as long as we have a capable backup LS. Having a starting linebacker as your longsnapper is playing with fire, IMO.
