Posted December 21, 201311 yr comment_33753 According to coachingsearch.com, Pat DelMonaco has joined the Calgary Stampeders as Offensive Line Coach.
December 21, 201311 yr Author comment_33756 Talk about landing on his feet. Brett Jones, Dan Federkeill, Stanley Bryant, Brett Jones, Dmitri Tsoumpas & a lot of depth with backups capable of stepping in & playing well ... He must think he's gone to football heaven.
December 21, 201311 yr comment_33757 Now we can see if he was a problem or not. No one developed on the o-line here time to find out if it was absolutely useless prospects or lack of coaching.Â
December 21, 201311 yr Author comment_33760 Huff is a pretty good judge of talent. .Haven't been many duds on his staff over the years especially at a position as important as this. Makes me wonder if he deserved to be the whipping boy on the coaching staff by fans. Talent or lack thereof has to figure into this when he coached the Bombers.
December 21, 201311 yr comment_33761 I don't know whether the O-Line was a product or a problem because of him, or strictly a matter of talent all the way through, but the growth of the players was stagnant, and it seemed we were always "developing'. Time for a change, so I'm not sorry to see Pat DelMonago,

December 21, 201311 yr comment_33773 Tough to make steak out of chicken **** so you're saying the guys were so devoid of talent that even a good coach couldn't get them to be even a little bit better than when they first got here?
December 21, 201311 yr comment_33774 The Stamps can have him, but I'm sure Delmonaco is thrilled to have some top end talent to work with.
December 21, 201311 yr Author comment_33779 Maybe not,17.Guys like January, Boatman & Morley have probably topped out.

December 22, 201311 yr comment_33781 He was garbage in years past we got way more out of our sub par talent then what he did. Glad he's gone!
December 22, 201311 yr comment_33799 We shall have an opportunity to see what it was at least.. More so talent or more so coaching..
December 22, 201311 yr comment_33808 I'd say talent mostly, the young guys we brought in all seemed to have cement shoes, just terrible footwork which is something that should have been identified in the scouting phase.
