His best performance ,and Ive watched it 10 times ,is in Tombstone. Never fails to make me laugh. RIP.

One strange movie is The Island of Dr. Moreau. Apparently Kilmer was tough to work with as he was "going through some things" as he found out during filming that he was getting divorced. If you ever watch it, note the blue arm band Kilmer is wearing. The director begged him to take it off as it made no sense for his character to be wearing it, but he wouldn't take it off.

I remembered when he was on Hustler and Lawless back in the day. I messaged into the show to see if he would say 'Da Bombers.  Sure enough, he obliged. It was awesome to hear.

AGT also ran from 15 years ago (she made it to the semi finals)....and Gabourey Sidbe's mom

RIP but I think we at the point here where we could post a random obituary from the free press and more people would be like oh that guy eh, I remember seeing him at the store. Cuz semi finalist on a show 15 years ago is WHO.

The Vatican appoints these Popes when they're in their mid 60's & then works them to death. By the time they pass away, they have no idea what they're doing or going on. After that, they just do what they're told what to do. They should appoint them in their mid 40's when they're young & vibrant. Then have them retire at 65-70. To me, it is a form of elder abuse that has been allowed to continue for a thousand years. However, I guess it's a calling (for death).

wasn't Pope John Paul II in his 50s when he got the job?

He was 58. By the time he was in his 70's the schedule was killing him. They should (but don't) have a retirement escape. Keep the position young.

He did the smart thing & actually resigned due to health reasons but he was 85 when he left. Benedict did receive widespread condemnation for doing so. It just isn't done & Pope Francis stayed on to the end.

If anyone here is Catholic & is interested to see the inner workings of the Catholic Church how they choose a Pope thn you should watch The Shoes Of The Fisherman from 1968 starring Anthony Quinn. From all I've read the politics behind choosing a Pope is accurate even if the political intrigue in the main plot isn't. I've seen TSOTF twice & I'm not Catholic.

This one is wild. Earlier in the day I got a notification from a site I follow that he was being taken to hospice and then was taken off his life support thing. Guess not long after or did he even make it to hospice.
