Didn't Hervey already get run out of a GM job for being a bit of a loon, or am I thinking of someone else?

Not run out per se, but his run in BC was... interesting.  He ended up resigning for "personal reasons" but there was a lot of criticism of how he handled things there - from player relations to shady contract issues.

Edmonton too, though.

Edmonton was a bit different - the public story when he got fired was that there were philosophical differences which can be interpreted as being run out but they also said not being able to agree on an extension was also part of the reason.  I don't think you can say he was being run out if they were trying to extend him at the same time.  Players were definitely happy he was given the axe though!

The CFL Boyz Club hard at work. Next up, BC fires Campbell. He takes Maksymic with him to Edmonton. Expect some assistants & a couple of big name receivers to go with them. Buck replaces Campbell in BC. What coaches & players will he take to Vancouver along with him? Would Schoen sign in BC???

I can't see any of them leaving. kolo would be Coutures backup so he's not going. I don't think Jake could even make the Lions. Biggie? He has his financial services career going here. If he wants to coach LBers here, all for it. Lions have Rourke at qb.

No...I.just want Buck to take em lol

In all honesty...I don't see a roster Jake would make...or Schmeck...maybe he may as last man up depth...but for reps we gave him....nowhere

Maybe some dimwit will take Jake on if he wants to continue to play. On paper he’s a “starting Canadian DT” on the number one defense in the league. Someone will hopefully be desperate enough to sign him. Hoping he’s not us.

Pretty sure other teams watch film...and actually see what they watching lol

You know. Props to Jake on a long career. A career only spent with Winnipeg. But it’s time to hang ‘em up. Let em go. Just enough. Dude gets prime Doug Brown reps all season. It’s just ridiculous. But props to him for sticking with one team. Maybe out of stupidity on our part the last 2 3 seasons now.

Schmeck would make a better project OL, when they had him in the jumbo set he didn’t look out of place.

I think he could improve at DL too honestly, year 1 to year 2 was a marked improvement, like the bar was low but still, it’s not like he’s old. He could have a nice career as a 2-way utility guy/depth piece.
