  • Fun to sit and watch practice today... Been about 20 years since I was last able. With respect to the late great Randy Turner, the king of Odds and Sods writing.... here's some thoughts: -Al

  • Just to speak to Wolitarsky’s character and just what a good dude he is … few years back, some friends and I went to go see him play at Earl’s on Main and we ended up chatting with him and Streveler …

Really easy to always say that there's some mystical coach out there that would be a better fit.  We've been through generations as CFL fans watching teams including our own who keep believing that.

How does Elgersma get on the roster with all of Collaros, Streveler, Wilson, Dolegala and Patterson around competing for 3 spots.

Probably sit on the practice roster if he's not in the NFL.

The last 3 and arguably Streveler at this point are all expendable.  Like they are fighting to stay in pro football.

Is Elgersma actually going to play QB at the pro level or is this just yet another NI QB who gets converted to receiver....

Shay is a good pick.

Both those lbs are good picks..I actually see Smith projecting better in long run

What’s the point of doing the draft soo damn slow then cutting out for a game in progress

I like how the GM labeled youth as #1 on their agenda. Bout time they stopped drafting old focks :D

I mean Bennett was an old ass rookie

He's a QB.  He's a good one, he's getting legit NFL look.  I think more potential than K Rourke, Rourke higher floor.  The issue is, is he a CFL starter in the next 2-3 years?  Or do you just end up developing him to go sign and play for the Argos if he does develop?

And, there's so many American QB's when playing a Canadian one doesn't necessarily help the ratio that much.

They are seriously putting the draft behind TSN+ and the CFL.ca tracker is frozen on Edmonton's 2nd round pick?

He has no better chance than any of the guys we do have. Worse than probably all of them.

The pros likely disagree with you hence why they took him in the 2nd round really.

Yeah kinda bullshit you need another TSN subscription on top of your TV TSN subscription to watch it.  Growing the game and making it more accessible and whatnot...
