Zach also went over 4000 for the 3rd straight season. I think only Deiter and Khari (4 times) have done that.

hate the aspect of the NFL that if a team gets the ball...with a lead with 2 mins...plus or minus left the game is essentially over....and just a bunch of back slapping...hand shaking...standing around...where in the CFL there can be at times 2...3 changes of possessions in that time...multiple scores and games pulled out of the fire for the losing team...at that moment

Yeah this bomber team for the last 5 years has never done anything the easy way. They just had that knack for winning the close games by putting themselves in that position where it was possible. This year the age and lack of depth in places means they're losing more close ones.

As the old saying goes. The good teams have all the luck. Look at the Tom Brady patriots or the Mahomes Chiefs. They always put themselves into a position to win the close games.
