Wouldn't be surprised to see Notree playing lots depending on Griffin's ability to play.

Cole...we're still waiting.  He's lost the job to every other American LB they've brought in and/or kept coming out of camp since he's been here.  Couple picks over 3 years, down after down not really making plays.

I'd like to see him at safety, bet he'd excel there.

Not in this defense.  In one with a traditional read the eyes, read the ball type safety maybe.

Even then he's not making any plays downhill from a weakside LB.  We've seen Griffin, Jones and Ayers all be pretty solid thumpers from that spot.  Wilson and Cole have been awful when in there this season.  D turned a corner when Griffin got that role due to injuries both to support better pass coverage and just be disruptive.

May God protect you from the backwash, PM me your home address and I'll protect if from looting, should that happen to occur.

Turned out to be pretty minor. News made it sound like the apocalypse. A few downed trees and some traffic light outages. That was about the extent of it here in Orlando.

Why you always so negative?

technically not sell outs... just crowds of 30,000+... which is impossible to Montreal, Hamilton (I think) and Toronto to even achieve.... gif still applies

not really... Cole started out as a teamer last year and worked his was into the defensive rotation... he was expected to contribute more this year but he's been injured most of this year

Cole played more as a pass rush specialist last season and rarely got plugged into the defence in any other role.  It's a given he's athletically gifted but he may not have the football IQ of some of his competitors.

He’s been on and off active roster since Banjo Bowl 2022 and gets passed by the new crop every training camp as a vet now.

My expectations are subterranean for him as a regular contributor on D.

Let's be fair... he's been hurt most of the season and he's never been the incumbent at Wil, that role goes to Wilson. I dunno,  to me the coaches view Cole as a jack of all trades can play a bunch of different spots kind of guy.

Yes... There are four uses for the Nationalized American rule.

One use is to take the spot of one of 21 Canadians on the overall roster. We are currently utilizing this rule. You do NOT need to name which player is your Nationalized American, you just need to have at least one player eligible.

The second use is to replace one of the 8 required starting Canadians. You would need to name this player on your roster.

The third use is as a backup - if a Canadian is injured in-game, they can be replaced by a Nationalized American. Again, no need to name these players on the roster.

The fourth use is the "Designated Nationalized American" rule. You name a player as a DNA and they can replace one Designated National for up to 25 snaps per game. You have to name the DNA and the DN before the game. So, for example, we could name Lucky a DNA and Clercius a DN and Lucky could replace Clercius for 25 snaps but he could NOT replace Demski, Oliveira, or any other National.

Unless the wind is from the south. All this makes my brain (the surviving cells) hurt.

@DTonOB can you ask Osh if or who our nationalized American is as it is never noted on depth chart...and if we dont use one ask him why and what reason for not utilizing a rule that would only help us?

Just so I'm clear for tonight...the Nationalized American rule (the 7 CDNs + 1 fake Canadian)? Or the Designated Nationalized American rule (the now-25 snaps one)?
