How do you call roughing the passer past the line of scrimmage?

Many CFL refs do this. It's the dumbest thing ever and makes no sense. It's  a penalty to hit any player who's giving himself up like Zach did on that play. It has nothing to do with his position, and on top of that, he's so far downfield that even using the term "passer" make no sense at all.

16-3 at half, put down the pitchfork

It’s all special teams points. No O tds.

its 3 field goals and a sp teams fumble. Oliviera is the only consistent player on O and they ignored him all 2nd Q after he puts up 50 yards in Q1.

Our O is predictable. Force it to Lawler. Or run to Brady. Strev comes in.  You know he’s not throwing. It’s just predictable. Buck calls stupid plays. Zach makes stupid decisions. It’s simple as that on O.

It's under Roughing the Passer in the CFL rules, any illegal/unnecessary contact to QB, including after QB has given himself up with feet first slide, landing with full body weight, stuffing on ground or throwing to ground.

Doesn't matter where on field.

Sergio is part of the special teams. This game is all because of the special teams right now

And all the offensive yards to set up the FG's.

All true, but why do they play the game...to win. Win as a team, lose as a team. So far we're winning, no matter how ugly it looks so far

Collaros hit Lawler in the hands twice (both dropped) and has a patch work O with 2 more starters down. Maybe give him a bit of slack?

Yeah Lawler is a shell of himself.

I like challenging the base cover 3/4 shell stuff Jones runs with verticals.  You have to get the DB's dropping off or they are just coming downhill at anyone on an intermediate/short route.

Receivers haven't made plays yet.  Demski had a 20 yard catch into the score zone and chose to bail hoping the defender wouldn't hit him.
