He won't make the money he's making up here even with the exchange rate.

Yep, unless they start making exceptions for guys like him. Which is possible. The xfl in 2023 paid 1 qb 200k, and Ta’amu was likely paid that or more on his return from the nfl. His salary was never announced but they do allegedly pay some guys more. He was on the riders neglist, but stayed in the ufl.
but it’s very possible he makes Pennies on the dollar. Between taxes, exchange and the reduced rate I bet he goes from 583k/ 300k to taking home 60-70k. I don’t think the ufl would pay him any thing close to a matching take home salary.

Edmonton's looking alright with the roster he stocked.

Sask lived off him with Craig Dickenson as the coach for many years.

His biggest weakness is inability to identify/develop QB's.  Everyone wants to give him **** about Ford but he did draft the guy to play QB.  He's an exciting player but not an exceptionally durable one.

Hamilton is on pace to give up right around 600 points this season.

That's worse than the 2005 no-DC cover-zero Bombers but not quite all-time bad -- the record is the 1991 Roughriders, who gave up 701 in an 18-game season.

That was the start of the Riders decade without a functional secondary and Don Matthews insane blitz scheme combination.

It makes me impossibly happy that the Riders own that....
