I can’t even come up with a comparable to Maier.  He looks like he spent the off-season on the couch eating Flamin Hot Cheetos.

Then Calgary sends out their running QB who promptly runs straight out of bounds for a 2 yard loss.

I thought the best part of the game was watching whiny DICKenson losing his ****. He really needs to have his punchable face raised up the ranking a little.

Calgary has had some rough starts the past few seasons and always find their way back in the mix at the end of the year. I’m not counting them out. BC looked pretty sharp and may be a team to beat this year.

I expect BC to start fast but fade as the season goes on. I expect Calgary to be middling all year with Oscar-Maier-Weiner-Arm. I expect the Elks to improve as the season goes on. I expect the Riders to be a dumpster fire stuffed in a locker all year.

The stadium is one thing....but to have an announced attendance of 17000, and we all know that is not a true number, on opening day is a total embarrassment.
