Lions have had no answer for Oliviera and that opens up the short passing game, which ought to eventually open up the long game. Plus, in cold weather, pounding the ball wears the defensive front 7 quickly.

There is an article kickng around that says they changed the rule to no contact on the plant foot a couple years ago. I hate it, but apparently it was correct.

BC gets the ball to start the half.  Kid Canada has done absolutely nothing.

And people were concerned about run defense...seems stout to me..BC's...not so much ...time to take over the second half

As long as we don’t beat ourselves we will be just fine. We’re controlling the game on both sides, just can’t turn the ball over. All things considered… it was a fine half of football!

IIRC, a punter suffered a broken leg on a similar play which led to the rule change.

I want to see us make Brady puke this half cause we feed him the ball so much.
