Fans from that vintage are good folks, it's the ones that became fans in the mid 00s that are obnoxious and toxic. One of the kids at my son's birthday over the weekend has a dad who is an old rider fan and he is a good dude to talk football with. He isn't a fan of the antics and not enamored with fajardos arm. Too bad more rider fans aren't reasonable people like that.

How did they go into the year saying yep this is the team that’s going to get to the Grey Cup in November. The bad o-line, the average at best QB play, the undisciplined penalties and the suspect team culture were all things any fan of the CFL could see a mile away.
