The players are tight to get home for Christmas. If they get a positive test before they get on the plane, they are stuck here, so I don't blame some for getting ahead of it.

I don't think us fans truly appreciate the sacrifice some of the American players make when they leave their families to come up here.  Look at Houston #35 as an example. And the total solid our team did for him.  But my point is the huge sacrifice some make to come here for 4-5 months away from their families. No judgement from me if they go home right away. And now with all this increasing covid crap, who can blame them??

So Fajardo is making $515,000 next season. How do you afford Harris too, even if he's say at $250,000 with incentives (which would be a large cut)? Can't see Harris taking a deal for $100,000 or so unless he is desparate.

I bet they restructure and extend him. I can't see how he's earned $515k.

I think I had read something, that Fajardo's contract was restructured, either in 2020 or 2021 based on previous performance/play i.e. 2019. The actually number(s) I'm not certain on. Now this is an aging memory with a who cares attitude towards the Green/White activities....

Yes, it was. That's how get got $415k (?) and then $515k. But, a lot has changed and he has definitely not progressed. I think, in both parties best interest, they need to restructure again or CF is just too expensive for the output. Lots of QBs on the market this year, I think.

Imagine going all in on Cody Fajardo...

nope....Riders be best to grab one of Evans, Masoli or Harris as their starter, and tell faj they want him, but at a backup slary...with start incentives...they aint getting a cup with him as starter, but he'd make a good back-up emergency guy...no question on that

And they want to make Duke the highest paid receiver, sign a legit RB (Ka’deem Carey) and somehow fix that oline…..

yeah...they gonna have serious issues there retaining guys...which prob isnt best bet there anyway, let alone signing any upgrades if they wanna dump big cash on Duke...gotta figure at least 175..180k minimum...so add that to Faj's 515k thats almost 700k minimum tied into 2 guys who in all honesty...won't put u over the top....and thats not even adressing the 0-line and linebacking corp there..which need major overhaul....yikes!
