Anyone blaming this on the weather hasn't been watching. Just awful QB play by McGuire.

Lol. I'm guessing you've  ever played football in a downpour. If you don't think it played a role in poor qb play I don't know what to tell ya.

  • I wouldn't give up on McGuire,   shitty weather + one team playing to get home field while the other team playing back ups and without the foot on the pedal....

  • We now have clarity on what would happen if Zach went down. Most of our starters played this game. Walters dropped the ball leaving the team so liable at such an important position.

  • Cut everyone. Blow it up.

No, he's having a piss poor game, but it's just one game and like I said, it's gotten away from the Bombers early. I'd have sat McGuire down a while ago because it's in his head now.

Regardless of why, this had to be one of the worse performances by a CFL QB this year.

what a joke. Left mcguire out the whole game.

Maybe because it tells you alot if the guy can or can't work through his problems. I'd definatly have left him in a  game that means nothing

I just hope such a turd game like this doesnt hurt the confidence and momentum weve got going on...

I was assured yesterday when I raised this concern that this was a nothing burger. Guess we will see. I know Dave Ritchie would have been worried about this possibility.

Ummmm...didn't seem to bother journeyman QB Trevor Harris today.

Are you implying he can't see white jerseys through all the rain drops?

Lol if you don't understand why rain might impact someone ability to throw...what should I say to you. My 7 year old knows the answer to that. Lol.

Look back at my posts. I'm not blaming only the weather or defending his performance. But if people think weather played no role, you've probably never been in that situation. That's ok.

It doesnt though. 1 the defense went into prevent, 2 bombers were fielding a 3rd string ol and not getting time. you dont learn any thing about that. Not to mention, you risk the health of your holder and short yardage qb.

it rained for maybe 5 minutes. Most of which was at a time we didnt have the ball. The entire 2nd half was dry conditions with a dry ball.

Rain isnt an excuse for poor tosses in an era where the gloves are better than stick em. He made a poor call to not go to a glove.
