You don't want to go the game without one. If an American receiver goes down he will sub in. If any of Demski or Woli goes down, we go 4-Americans.

But if we are starting more than the minimum number of Canadians we get an American on the roster as a backup who isn't a DI correct?

They'll be fine if one goes down and an import steps in.

Don’t get too hung up on the depth chart. The only players they declare are the DI’s and QB’s. Yes we will have one American “backup” who is not a DI who can sub in for anyone because we’ll have up to 7 Canadians on O most of the time when we are only required 6.

We start 8...that 8th player can be replaced by an International.
