You're playing a team that basically can't get a first down on offense, you have Walker, Wilder and you're running dig routes to a fullback lined up in isolation, then bracketed (covered over and under) in coverage 15 yards down the field (the 3rd INT)!!! WTF is this. Also way too many passes to a really inexperienced guy like Ross which cost them dearly. Edmonton had to finish one drive to win this game even with handing Ottawa a TD. Have no idea how Lapolice and the rest of the braintrust in Ottawa made the calculation that the best bet for them was pushing all the chips into the middle of the table on Nichols. His throwing arm is clearly shot, he's almost two years off the injury, it's not getting better now.
