What a train wreck this team is.   Playoffs are a pipe dream.  Is it next year time yet?

Anyone still think Bitetto is better than anyone?  He screws up and Brossy bails him out... Maurice keeps him out there and we immediately pay.  He stays out AGAIN and gets into a fight... Trying to save face.  Just brutal.  He is absolutely awful, but Maurice is a complete idiot for constantly putting him out there.

Have to admit, I’m shocked we tied that up.  Pretty good effort after the 1st.  Didn’t see a lot of Bitetto in the 2nd half of the game.

I give him no props for the fight.  I was hoping he was simply benched for being a complete disaster, but you could be right about an injury.

He only played last night because Niku got hurt. Your assertion Maurice loves him or that he's a character guy is nonsense (what "character" does he possess?). Bitetto is nothing more than an inexpensive, subpar stopgap on a depleted blue line.

He's basically an inferior Adam Pardy with no cool helmet story.

To be fair, Maurice does love Bitetto...  He's played him 49 times... 49 times!  He's said, on more than one occasion, that he's a good communicator, experienced guy and great in the room.  That's the character that he allegedly possesses.

Even with our depleted blue line, Bitetto has played way too much.

Maurice has said on the radio at least two times that I've heard where he pointed out Bitetto as being a vocal leader and motivating the guys on the ice during practice and complemented his character.

He outright said that he likes his character.

I assume Bitetto does this because he knows he sucks and this is his only chance at collecting more NHL pay cheques.
