Great news for Rose, bad news for us. He has NFL Practice Roster time left too.

Bombers is now a good destination for players who have a decent chance to go to the NFL.

Well I'm sure he left on good terms and if we still have the same management then I don't see why he wouldn't want to come back with us first?

Its all about the money.  Whoever pays is where he plays.

Very happy to see Johnny Augustine extended. Didn't think it would happen. Hopefully he gets to carry the rock plenty in 2020.

Yeah I thought he might be gone. But I suppose when you start a Canadian RB that's the best opportunity for playing time.

For now that is a safe assumption. Highly likely both make the opening day roster.

I don't think a healthy Brady backs up  Augustine. But having all three ni RBS on the team is a huge value. 

Sad to see Winston Rose go, would be tough to lose Sayles too.

Hopefully we re-up him if he does not land down south.

 

Rose going sucks..but corners are not extremely hard to replace, and he could be back mid season..dont see him getting on an active roster down there

I think Winnipeg made him somewhat of a priority.  They are not in a position to start an american back if Harris gets injured like they once were and Oliveria is coming off of a pretty serious injury. 

And depending on who we re-sign for foot soldiers..there is more than enough roster space to have all 3 in game day line up

Augustine has become a real disrupter and force on the cover teams..losing him there alone would have hurt the over all picture.

Brady Oliveira is recovering well.

Too soon to tell if we could start an ni at RB if Harris went down. We could've this year but went with flexibility else where.

Darned few would have taken Harris out of the starting role once he came back from his suspension. Agree on Wolitarski  and Peterman.

No one is taking Harris out. He could offer more in short yardage and teams then Augustine though. And you don't need to be taking eithers spot to practise. 

Id like to see both start and demski be the rotational package guy playing out of the backfield as much as any thing. Line him up in a 2 back set then watch some one try to cover him deep from a back field assignment
