I’m going to ask you take a break from posting .. or I’ll look to give you a break. We get your point of view. You don’t need to repeat it ad naseum in every thread.

  • I can't believe I'm reading hate for Strev... Christ sakes. He was a warrior tonight. Needs a wheelbarrow to carry his balls in. Had some tough drops that didn't help. Curious to see how bad his ankle

Streveler can barely walk on the sidelines. How do you put him back in as head coach?

The stumps play BC on our bye week. We're done. Third place. I say we just take next week off. Give the stumps first in the West and take a little solace in messing up the sheep-seducing, sister/wife lovers over in the rectangle province, shot at a bye nd first place.

So give up the Bombers opportunity to host a playoff game just to spite the Riders?  Wow that’s a lot of hate.

Streveler is a warrior out there, no doubt about it.  However, it is frustrating watching a QB who is, for the most part, incapable of throwing it down the field with any accuracy on a consistent basis.  Less than 150 yards passing...you simply can't win with that performance which is what Streveler provides week in and week out.

2 more picks by Strev so he now has 16 ints this season.  Based on his passing attempts, he throws a pick every 14 attempts...you can't win with that type of quarterbacking.

Looking at the final numbers, Strev had more rushing attempts than Harris which is inexcusable.

There's a lot about this team right now that's inexcusable. McGuire actually showed something granted it was only a couple of days oh, but he has great mechanics and looks like he can stretch the field.

Our defense plays a butter soft zone, Bighill has gone from invisible to. Ring a liability. Jefferson is invisible and a non factor.

Our best hope is to play sask in the semi, steal a win, and hope for the best in the west final. But at this point we need a miracle to win the championship.

It's simple stunning how fast we fell apart.

As far as Streveler goes, let’s be clear. He wasn’t great again tonight but put up the standard 220 yards of offence. If anyone thinks Nichols puts up appreciably more than that, or the result is any different, I don’t know what to tell you.

Even Mike Reilly needs someone downfield to throw to.

Other than Nickthesizz no one hates Streveler. He has lots of heart & yes, he's a warrior. But I don't want a warrior at qb. I want a qb that can read a defense & throw the ball with success. Someone who actually gives us a chance to win.

In the CFL a QB is only as good as the receivers he has to throw to and the offensive play calling to get those receivers the ball.

You'd think looking at what Nichols put up against the shitty teams vs Strev vs the good ones and the difference being 1 drop most games in terms of passing yards... Youd think ppl would get its not the QB.. Its the Design of the lap O.

Ya but there seems to be a bit of a bias that when Nichols doesn’t put up numbers, it’s Nichols fault, but when strev doesn’t put up numbers it’s lapos fault. Seems to be a lot of problems with this team.

J5V, the kid can't throw downfield. He's throwing curls to flats on the field for the most part under 10 yards. Yeah, that throw to Lawler was nice but he has to do much more as a qb passing than that & he's showed us nothing. other than he can run. To me, it's becoming more & more apparent that he just doesn't have it as a passer & never will. Big heart, strong, tenacious & a warrior. Switch him to slot or running back. Let those traits work for him at those positions.

How many shots did he take downfield today? His entire play set was from -5 yards to 10 yards. He hit Lawler on one pass up the middle that surprised Calgary on second-and-one. What is he supposed to do? Turn off his headgear and start freelancing with his receivers to push the ball downfield? Yeah, that'd be a good career move.

Bottom line.. Regardless of how points are scored considering the D was scoring points earlier in the season also.. Winning games without giving up TDs.. But regardless.. 33 points in Calgary should be enough to win. Problem recently has been the D giving up these big time explosion plays.

D was not doing this earlier..they were shutting teams down. Now.. If the D needs a stop, they dont get it.

Well Nichols tends to checkdown to harris way 2 much.. But i don't think anyone said that. Pretty sure most of us has seen this for years from Lapo.
