September 25, 20196 yr comment_428617 Thing is they don’t have to guess anymore with the replay booth. They are allowed to overrule the game officials on rough play situations. They can’t hide behind the “speed of the game” stuff anymore. The officiating is getting worse, not better. Horrendous mistakes, usually involving replay, affect the outcome of a handful of games which has an effect on which teams get home playoff games or even who gets into the playoffs. There’s no other league in sports that has botched the use of replay like the CFL. Report
