Jones is pretty unlikeable too. Maas at least does it in the heat of the moment. Jones plotted out being a jerk.

Most hated CFL coaches.

1. The unethical Hugh Campbell.

2. The devious Chris Jones.

3. The great Don Matthews.

4. The ghost Jim Daley.

5. The mouth Leo Cahill.

Maas is easily working his way to the top five list.

  • Hey Glen, Davis is older than Bo Levi Mitchell. Maybe it’s about time you stop calling him a “young” quarterback.

  • Why do teams on 3rd and short go in Shotgun format for the hand off.... I'd love to see the success rate because it seems like it rarely works compared to the normal big formation up the gut.

Gotta say... the stats didn't tell the story for Davis' performance

Both interceptions were on his receivers imo

the second was obviously a fluke that the receiver should have caught (you can argue he underthrew the ball but with how open his receiver was it was hard for the db to turn)

The first looked like his receiver stopped coming back to the ball on a scramble play after the ball was thrown.... receiver standing still with the db running past for the pick....

Hard to say, this year should be the determining factor with the amount of playing time he's receiving, this is it, he either grabs the bull and rides it now or he doesn't.  Even if he doesn't remain a starter I think he's shown enough that he should be able to hang around the league for 3 or 4 more years as a competent backup in various outposts.

Agree if he wants to be a starter he finds a way to score on the last drive. Other qbs do it so he has to do it too. Or he goes back to being a bench warmer. The comment about Sinopoli being covered sounds the same as Matt Nichols saying his receivers were covered when they played the Stamps last season so he had no one to throw to which went over like a lead balloon with  fans here.  Although it was probably true.

I thought both passes he threw into the E.Z. were catchable as they hit the receivers right in the hands, although with defenders in their face it's not hard to understand why they failed to squeeze them.

How are our points divided up so far this season..... offence, defence, special team ?

We lead the league in TDs with 26..and lead in offensive TDs with 23

We have 197 offensive points scored good fir 2nd to Ham 199

Ham avgs 28.4 offensive points a game..best in league..we average 28.1

So we have a point producing offense regardless of what people perceive as short comings at QB

Factor in as well that 60+ point game Hamilton got as skewing their points a bit and we conceivably could be first
