July 25, 20195 yr comment_410820 I want Chris Matthews to make it impossible not to put him in based on play, not salary and name

Also, glad about the puncture incident, things have been far to collegial at MBB, since Nichols put that discussion to bed. Edited July 25, 20195 yr by Mark F

What happens when Lawler gets his leg broken on the first series? Is there a team jet that can fly Matthews in stat? There are some odd circumstances that have been happening week after week with Matthews IMO. He was walking up to the plane and then saw them loading the in-flight meals. Unfortunately they included cutlery (and not just knives and spoons). He is now taking an uber and will meet the team for the pregame meal.
July 25, 20195 yr comment_410823 It sounds like he forked up and the coach is not forking happy with him to me.

There are some odd circumstances that have been happening week after week with Matthews IMO. He is not on the roster. Every week there is one player on the 46 man depth chart who does not dress for the game. If Lawler breaks his leg, even if Matthews was on the sidelines he couldn't play because he is a scratch. If Lawler breaks his leg, Petermann or Walker would go in for him. So there is no need for Matthews to travel with the team.
July 25, 20195 yr comment_410828 I suspect that Matthews was hitting on some clubs members of the female persuasion and one of the males in the vicinity thought that Matthews said , " I wanna get forked tonight" and took him at his word.

July 25, 20195 yr comment_410835 IIRC we're staying in Ontario for the week. With Matthews not making the flight does that mean he isn't practising this week and not playing again next week or is he flying out after the game?

July 25, 20195 yr comment_410846 I am curious if they fly all the practice roster guys out to Toronto for the week as well.

July 26, 20195 yr comment_411060 So something to consider about Matthews.... He's playing a lot of slot this time right? And he's been a WR the whole time in the CFL previously correct? Now throw in the fact that he was hurt all of training camp this just looks like typical Bombers easing guys in slowly when they have the opportunity to do so. Lawler playing well so don't rock the boat.

July 26, 20195 yr comment_411287 seeing as Mike Jones the DB on PR can return..and looked good in camp and pre-season next week I would flip him and Humes...and put Matthews in place of Walker and get him involved heavily in the offence...and then see what we have cooking Edited July 26, 20195 yr by Booch
