  • Also, Winston Rose was tied for the lead in interceptions last year with 5, and this year, he was all alone with 9 interceptions, 2 ahead of the much more ballyhooed Tre Roberson... Great job Win

  • I wouldn't trade Neufeld at all..that be the stupidest thing to do for several reasons..one he's one of the better guards in league...secondly he and Bryant are a well oiled unit..thirdly if we did an

Not the news i was looking for here.  Actually not too worried about Neufeld because id like to see both Gray and Speller in there but would really like to see our complete receiving core out there this week.

Agree on the oline. And while Id love to see mathews, Its a great chance for Lucky and Lawler to distinguish them selves. I like the up side of the guys in the middle of the OL, but Im more worried about the level of play on the OL then the Wrs.

They dont have a ton of experience or chemistry yet. And in the pre season we struggled run blocking in side. They looked good in pass pro though.

As long as they beat BC I don't really care who plays, but having 3 new faces on the O-line is a frightening prospect, hopefully they can protect Nichols and make holes for Harris.

I'll take 3 new faces who have had somewhere between months and years to practice with the team over the new to each other unit BC has.

I only wish Cactus was still alive.

How do you think he would butcher that one Throw Long?....I think he'd say something like ''I'm not going to touch that one with a ten foot pole'......and then proceed to call the game and have the Esks. playing us in Van.............lol   sure miss the guy

I think he'd stick with his first name Meffy, or just nickname him King Kong.

Cactus: That BC player Mee-fee Cola....how do you say it?

Bob Irving: Meffi Koloamatangi.

Cactus: Right, Murphy Koala-mangy.

Iirving: No, Koloamatangi.

Cactus: Right, ColourmyTV, that it?

Irving: No, it’s a tricky one for sure. I practiced all week on that one. Let’s just call him Meffi, Jack.

Cactus: Well, suffice to say, Mr. Murphy Jack made an impact on today’s game...

And then he’d call him Jack Murphy every time after that.
