May 29, 20196 yr comment_393785 If Franklin can figure it out Argos might not be terrible. He does have some weapons Walker, Edwards, Green, Wilder.

May 29, 20196 yr comment_393790 Green is so far beyond done he can’t even remember what it was like to be good.

May 29, 20196 yr comment_393805 and over 1400 yards the year before by fluke?...and basically playing the last year with no QB worth spit
May 29, 20196 yr comment_393808 Green can still produce. If he was washed up the Riders would have traded for him Edited May 29, 20196 yr by Geebrr

If he got millions of targets, they obviously had the chance. He did also have less receptions then 3 out of the 4 Wr ahead of him. It's not even that I think he is better then what we have. But saying he is so done he doesn't remember what it's like to be good, is obviously insane. The guy can still play, he's past his prime, but will likely still be a 1000yrd rec. May 29, 20196 yr comment_393810 SJ Green is not done , that being said the stats are slightly skewed as most of his big games were against the East.

It’s a testament to how hard it is to play DB in the league combined with the significant lack of DB talent right now, especially in the east division last season. Look, watch the guy play rather than eyeball his stats. He can’t get separation anymore. He can still catch the ball and if you leave him open or let him get body position on you, he’s going to make a play but he’s less mobile than end stage obese Nik Lewis at this point and it’s only going to get worse for him.

We can both watch him this season and draw our own conclusions.
May 29, 20196 yr Author comment_393818 Montreal depth chart up... its not pretty - seems like (I hope) lots of backups... https://d3ham790trbkqy.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/sites/13/2019/05/AlouettesRosterPre-SeasonA2019-Position.pdf
May 29, 20196 yr comment_393820 I think we can all agree that SJ Green today is not the same as SJ Green 3-4 years ago... but I think it's a stretch to say he's completely done...

May 29, 20196 yr comment_393823 Don't care about the score....just want to see the new horseflesh in action.
May 29, 20196 yr comment_393828 Considering the injury and rehab SJG went through, it's a remarkable comeback and he's playing at a very high level...
May 29, 20196 yr comment_393840 Who was the other twin tower receiver the Alouettes had 5+ years ago or so?? Green and that other guy were bananas good together. Fed us our lunch more than once. Edited May 29, 20196 yr by Bubba Zanetti
