Great to see Loffler planning his comeback, class act and solid performer, his critics can take their opinions regarding his importance to the secondary and shove them in one ear and out the other.  Yes his contribution was eventually replaced at Safety but it took 3/4 of the season to do so, and it was accomplished by Import Brandon Alexander not  by Natl's Jones or Hecht.

Taylor Loffler to return for 2020 season following third ACL surgery.

And the ripping of a helmet off the head, the swinging of the helmet and the hitting a player in the head with it.

There were flags thrown for ripping the helmet off in both games. Yes, Adams should have been ejected from the game.for swinging the helmet. Throwing the helmet at Bighill and clipping him on the chin (in the video you can see the helmet rolling in the opposite direction after hitting Bighill). He did not use the helmet to bludgeon a guy on the head.

Only because Adams has terrible aim.

It looks like he tried but failed.

Tried and failed to bludgeon a guy on the head. I think the intent was clearly there.

Looks pretty similar to me. Except Adams chose a backhand helmet swing versus an overhead helmet smash.

There is actual video evidence of the helmet striking the Steelers player.

Some people do not know when enough is enough. He is on the edge of needing a walker before he is 40.

West Division All-Star one week, cut the next....

Lions release all-star kicker Sergio Castillo

The B.C. Lions have released kicker Sergio Castillo.

Castillo led the CFL with a 91.1 field goal percentage, hitting 41-of-45 attempts.

Is Brett Maher 3rd rate kick-around in the CFL still  hanging onto an NFL licking job with the Cowboys?

That Freudian slip is probably pretty close to the truth.

That said I remember Maher missing the birth of his child to be at Bomber training camp so I can at least be happy that his dream of playing pro football has been realized.

Maher actually has several 50+ yard fgs for the Cowboys this year, including at least one over 60.

Yeah, he's doing rather well down there:

Quote

[Wiki] On October 13, 2019, in a loss against the New York Jets, Maher became the first kicker in NFL history to have two made field goals of 62 or more yards in a career.[22] On October 20, 2019, Maher set a new career long and broke his own Cowboys franchise record when he scored a 63-yard field goal against the Philadelphia Eagles. On the game, he converted all four of his extra points and all three of his field goals, earning him NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.[23]

No doubt to go to the NFL. He's been the best back in the league for the past several years and it's a wonder he's not playing down there already.

Dont agree. Im sure he will try and get a deal, but I dont see any NFL team wanting him after the year he just had.

I could see him in BC, with lapo.
