  • I don't care what the penalty was, if you give up 4 goals on a 5 min major, you deserve to lose. That should be virtually impossible to do...

What!? Lol Sharks scores 4 goals on a 5 minute pp they didn’t deserve.

vegas lost. But that game was over until that bad call.

No it wasn't. The Jets scored 2 goals in a minute in game 6. Leafs a few years ago lost when winning by 2 or 3 with a couple minutes to go. The game wasn't over. Vegas also had a 3 1 series lead and failed. Bottom line... The game was tied going to OT.. Sharks won. Knights and their entitled fanbase lost.

I found the following statistics interesting ...

In the 25 years before Gary Bettman became full time commissioner of the NHL Canadian teams won the cup at a clip of 60% (15/25).

In the 25 years after Gary Bettman became full time commissioner of the NHL Canadian teams won the cup at a clip of 0% (0/25).

It started with the Rangers who bought all the ex-Oilers and for the next 10 there was no salary cap so Canuck teams had no chance and then when they did bring in one it took another 5 to even things up.

As for the last 10 years...well the odds are even but they outnumber us 4-1.

But we're Canadians so we'll pay more for tickets and beer and TV rights and say its our game.
