Maurice said he will find out this afternoon if D Joe Morrow (lower body) is available for upcoming road trip. If not,another D would be recalled from Moose. Andrew Copp has been cleared for contact and might be an option to play either tomorrow or this weekend

Our depth is being tested. Hopefully we are the Calgary Stampeders of the NHL.

PRA is a solid line. If Maurice doesn't give them 10 minutes hes dumb. This to me is important.. Will Maurice play the 4th line more than 6 minutes. Give ESW and CLL a break. Cuz right now S and W in particular are being overplayed. My biggest concern with Maurice is he overplays some guys.. Overplayed Helle last year and this year too and is overpaying S and W. 4th line needs 10 minutes. Appleton is good.. Solid player with some finishing ability. Strong on puck. Let the 4th line play. 

 

Part of the 3rd period collapses this year is Maurices refusal to roll 4 lines and his love affair for overplaying S and W even when they aren't feeling it. S and W gassed.

I agree, but I doubt there’s any chance the 4th line gets close to 10 minutes.  If they get more than 6, I’d be surprised.  Maybe having Perreault there will encourage Maurice to play them a bit more.

Okay, the 4th line has had 3 shifts already, so maybe they’ll make 10 minutes.  Got to say, I’m surprised.

I’m not sure what is worse, the game coverage or the officiating.

Queue the collapse from the Jets....   had full blown momentum late in the 3rd period until Chiarot takes a completely useless penalty and straight down hill from that point. 

Why on earth would the the Jets collapse their coverage like that? Jeebus.

Chairot’s penalty was BS.

I’m so sick of watching the Jets back off and allow teams to gain our zone, even when we have the numbers.... 1 on 2, 2 on 3.  Absolutely ridiculous.

It wasn't BS penalty... he got two calls going his way only a few minutes before... he should of known better to play clean instead of making a stupid play like he did. 

It was a weak call.

At least we won in the end...   kind of ruined Broissot's great game but I'll take the win.     I wonder if the team can scoop a veteran D man from someone else in a trade...  they could use one with all these injuries.  

Outside of Scheifele’s early give away, that was a very dominant OT.  Lots of chances.  Kinkaid made a couple huge saves.  Connor was really good.
