Such a **** move by the Lions to wait this long to cut a HOFer who has spent his whole career in BC.  Gotta wonder if the CFLPA stuff factors into that timing.  Also sure he was owed offseason money and wonder if the Lions/league will follow through.

Bombers should check the price, might be good value.

A smart GM will always inquire about the price, to know if it fits the cap. Not everyday you’ll get a chance to get a crack of Soli’s caliber. 

For me, I dont mind to see Bighill & Elimimian playing back together in Blue& Gold. 

You just have to think Bighill would be in Walters ear about this...to at least take a peek...

Bighill in the middle and Jefferson on the line... Would the price of elimimian bring enough of a gain in our defense to warrant it?

That said the name of the game for winning championships is defense... 

I thought that with his injuries he hasn't been on that same level from a few years back?  

 

I would hate to see us blow our load on a WIL, and not have the money to go after a big time receiver that might shake loose prior to the season, but I trust Walters to know his cap situation as well or better than anyone...

If we signed Elimimian, Bighill would become the WIL and it’s just not worth it. We’d be paying for the name more than the production

He won the modp in 2017. No idea how he'll come back from last year's injury, though.

All the pressure comes from mlb and dl in halls system... I’d stick with Wilson or rookie at wil - or ackie....

Santos Knox frequently mentioned that he learned much from Adam. 

Bighhill will make sure that santos replacement will play well.

It would be weird to let a young guy like JSK and blow our load on al older (albeit great) veteran coming off an injury.

Id pass on Elomimian. I feel our $$$ would be better spent elsewhere.. With that said, it would depend on the deal. Sort of an incentive laden contract with a base of about 90 to 100 k.. Id consider it.. I likely would have signed JSK tho if i wanted to spend money at WIL.

3downnation is reporting now that there are 3 remaining teams who are interested. Hamilton, Sask and Toronto.  They all have concerns however about age and injury potential.  So basically they are all looking for a bargain.
