Tail does not wag the dog. Bottom line, Carter, despite his obvious talent.... has now become non-sustainable for a couple of CFL teams, no matter what they did, or how hard they tried, to keep him flying at the right altitude. He is 27 years old, not an unruly teen.....or perhaps he still is. Whatever... any team that now signs him, better be planning in the short term. Unless he grows up someday..

Nobody has ever accused Jones of having too much class. But the damage was already done. Given the ego levels of both Jones and Carter....this was perhaps almost inevitable
