The team did just fine last season and they're all a year ahead. I stand by my statement.

He probably should. Hes actually quite underrated.

I'm more in the camp of retiring numbers for guys who excelled big time rather then simply playing for the club for a long time.    

 

Doan was also the captain of the Coyotes for 14 seasons and the face of the franchise.  Thats a huge component as to what he meant to that franchise over Little with the Jets.

Turned down opportunities to go to a contender where he could win a Cup. He was a good hockey player but maybe a little too comfortable in Phoenix.

Little was 1C for a lot of years with this franchise...  at least hang his jersey from the rafters...
