February 20, 20187 yr comment_320402 You have to think we’ll need to strongly consider going after a receiver if there isn’t a must have O-linemen available.
February 20, 20187 yr comment_320405 It isn't so much about what we'll go after as WHEN we'll go after them. Gonna take an OL but will it be R1 or R2? And these rankings are always bunkum until we know who's going to the States and will never see the CFL...
February 20, 20187 yr comment_320421 If we could land Cibasu, I’d be happy ... something tells me he’s top 4 though.
February 21, 20187 yr comment_320645 One guy to watch who hasn’t made any lists is Bo Banner from Central Washington. GNAC defensive player of the year, pass rushing defensive end. Will probably be at regional combine. I’m sure Rigmalden knows all about him.

February 21, 20187 yr comment_320685 in terms of need, i think DE is the position to consider. we got enough Intl but only Corney as Nat. to rotate 7 DLs (3 DT 4 DE) we need a Nat to use DI in other area.

Local Winnipeg kid who played St. Vital Mustangs and then went to St. Paul's. He played on the Provincial team several years. He then went to Western, where he consistently performed as the top RB in the OAU. He was a dominant force in the Vanier (154 yards in 26 carries). He has power/speed/balance. Had the Bombers not taken LaFrance, I would have been all over them to grab Taylor. If he's still on the board in the second round, I think he'd be a good pickup. IIRC, he still has 1 year of CIS eligibility, so they might grab him and wait for next year. With all these 1 year contracts out there, having depth is good, especially with Normand signing in Edm.

February 21, 20187 yr comment_320696 Banner looks to have some speed but beyond that, doesn't seem to shed blocks all that well or power rush. I would rather have his cousin Bruce.

Immediately made him eligible to join the Royal Canadian Legion and therefore, all his relatives eligible for the CFL draft. Pretty sure that is how several of the "Canadian" starters in this league got their status.

Ben Cahoon was seen tapping Maple Syrup out of a Maple Tree once, so that is how he got his Canadian status.
