Never said he should be on the no1 line said he needs a center that has the skill to play with him....which ain't Copp or Little. Just a fact but don't let that get in the way of your opinions?

So that means top line or Scheifele on the second line with Laine, effectively making it the top line regardless of what you call it.  Because there are no other centre options here.

His effort level was really exposed when they had him with Schief and Wheeler on Friday. He's great on the pp, but he needs to improve in every other aspect. He's 19 and scores a **** tonne of go

One hell of a game to be at last night. Just an utterly dominant performance by the home side, in every facet. PPG, SHG, hard hits, a brawl, penalty box shenanigans... Much fun was had by the home cro

Nope wrong again look at my posts...i suggested trying roslo with Laine dropping Little to third....just get him a center. This is not hard. Try to follow along.

How does everyone just assume Roslo can step in at C and perform at NHL level...

I'll be very excited to watch LCE against Bourque and Soderberg...   I think both Laine and Ehlers end up scoring this game

Was Roslo playing C on Moose?

If Laine scores I think it will be on the powerplay :P

We don't have a superstar right now but Laine is the one with the potential to be one. Who is the one player you want to see unleash his shot?  Sheif and Wheeler how good were they at 19? Were they leading their NHL teams in goals? Do they posses a shot better than 99% of the league? Is the power play arranged to get them the puck?  Laine is our best sniper and needs that top level center to feed him and that ain't Copp......or Little.

wonder if we could ever get Nico Hischier out of NJ...

The whole notion that this team's lacking star power is pretty laughable.  We remember 2011, right?  2012??!  Ladd, Little and Wheeler 0.5 as a #1 line... and bupkus behind them?

Fair to say most judge star's in today's game by ability to produce offence?

Here's last 3 seasons worth of PPG game leaders in the league.

Looks like 15  20  pretty elite players.... star players, without a doubt.... superstars?  Why the *%&# not?

or Trouba.

I'm very intrigued to see how that plays out.  I'm a pretty vocal Trouba fan.  He's not worth $7M+ elite D money.  But damn, he's close.  For sure would like him being a Jet into his 30's.

Our record this season is 100% the reason Trouba's status isn't talked about daily.
