Bogosian was horrid in the Winter Classic.  14 GP, 0 goals, 0 assists, 20 PIMS and 23 SOG this year.....ouch.

Buff opens the scoring (finally)

Trouba makes it 2-1

wheels makes it 3-1

Jets are 3-2 after 2

and for the first time since the 14-15 season we have beaten the sabres

Solid game from both teams. Could have been 6 7 3 if Jets capitalized on their chances. Helle is now 6 0 2 in last 8 games hes played. Gotta start Mason soon tho. 

Someone teach Ehlers how to score on breakaways.  It's getting beyond ridiculous.

I don't blame Maurice for playing  Morrissey , Trouba,  Kulikov and Myers... all four of them had really strong games last night.    Only Chiarot looked bad IMO...

Now that Enstrom is back I expect Byfuglien to be in the 20-25 minute range again.

Would love to see the Jets move Buff for something of value. For some reason, other teams just love that guy and see him as a superstar....he's a big time declining asset right now. He's getting slower and slower with age, and not the dominating presence he once was. If they can retain Trouba and deal Buff, I'd be down with that...

If they were to move him unless you do something like Montreal did with Subban you would need a three way deal.
