Clearly Miller is the best play by play guy and there is no better colour man than Dunigan.... And Winnipeg's very own Black is a "fraidy cat" (always advocating resting your stars before they get hurt) gets the award for the most obsessive "fact giver" broadcaster the CFL has ever had. He out-does even Captain Obvious with his insight and hackneed worn out football cliches ... perhaps he has some "mystery" he keeps in his sock drawer. Where else would he keep his talent? It's hard to believe he has a job anywhere. He is that bad. He must work for peanuts.
October 29, 20177 yr comment_300859 I have long stopped wondering why Black has a job. Stop thinking about it, it will only make you insane.
October 29, 20177 yr comment_300940 Black goes into a game with a chosen narrative and sticks with it regardless of what is happening on the field of play. Black would actually be pretty good in the studio hosting a panel which I have seen him do on a semi-regular basis. He got a shout out once from Charles Barkley a couple years ago on some broadcast. Does that make him a little bit cool? We should give him a break. Black is from Transcona. A man can't help that his idiosyncracies are a result of where he was raised.
